I'm a third year student here at UC Irvine. This is my first year studying Sociology and I really enjoy the classes that I've taken so far. Sociology has caught my eye, in particular I'd like to do research on Mexican assimilation. The way that immigrants and "Americans" interact is something that I'd like to take a closer look at. I am also interested in illicit drug use in America. My Social Science 3a research topic deals with the statistics of teenage drug use.
